For those women who enjoy wearing skimpy bikinis and undies, then this is the one for you. A slim strip of hair is left down the centre of the pubic area, a couple of centimetres above the vagina. You may be given disposable knickers but it is easier if you avoid underwear altogether. You can then decide on how wide you’d like the strip of hair by talking with your therapist.
 
Before wax is applied, the hair may be snipped shorter to make it easier for the wax to reach the hair follicle and for this procedure. As there is a larger area to remove than there is for a standard bikini wax,  the wax is smoothed on and removed a bit at a time.
